TradeConnex is hiring on behalf of a leading client for experienced Piling Rig Offsiders in the solar industry to work on long-term infrastructure projects across Queensland If you have a background in operating Gayk, Orteco, or Vermeer rigs, this opportunity offers stable work, career growth, and the chance to be part of Australia’s largest projects.

The Role: You’ll be crucial to the success of major Solar projects, responsible for:

• Operating along side the Piling Rig Operator.
• Assist with Rig Setup & Positioning – Help the operator align and secure the piling rig in the correct location according to site plans.
• Handle and Prepare Piles – Guide piles into position, attach lifting gear, and ensure correct orientation before driving.
• Following project specifications to meet targets and maintain quality
• Working closely with the site team to ensure efficient operations
• Complying with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, fostering a culture of safety

About You: To be successful, you should bring:

• Proven experience with Gayk, Orteco, or Vermeer piling rigs.
• Proven Experience on a solar Project.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance and safety protocols
• A valid White Card (Construction Induction)
• C-Class Driver’s Licence
• A strong focus on teamwork and HSE compliance
• experience working on solar farms/similar environment
