Driver - Leading Hand
522184 | Permanent - Full Time | Toowoomba QLD Australia- Permanent - Full time position – Toowoomba, QLD
- $38.16 per hour + penalties for overtime
- $1500 retention bonus paid every 3 months
- 4am to 2pm Monday to Friday

The Opportunity:
- Coordinate drivers, ensuring pre-start checks are carried out and drivers depart the depot on schedule
- Provide relief on runs on any system as required
- Maintain a professional image of the company and deliver high quality customer service at all times
- Perform loading and unloading duties of waste as required
- Complete all records and paperwork accurately, as directed and required
- Operate user friendly computerized systems and other work-related systems
Your skills and experience
- Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence as a minimum, HC Licence preferred
- Dangerous Goods Licence is highly advantageous
- Demonstrated supervisory experience and leadership/teamwork capabilities
- Computer skills in MS Office and operational databases are desirable
- Experience within the waste and/or transport industry is desirable
- Mechanical aptitude
