What you will do
- Provide exceptional, person-centred support to a clients to assist them in securing sustainable employment
- Support, mentor and monitor service delivery and the performance of the Employment Consultants
- In collaboration with the team, market the Inclusive Employment Australia program across external and internal stakeholders
- Engage in local communities to promote and market employment services of Afford
- Maintain, update and document appropriate notes, and documentation
- Complete initial and ongoing appropriate assessments, including risk assessments and identify job customization opportunities at various workplaces
- Work collaborative with Vocational Counsellors, Business Development Consultants, Senior Employment Consultants and Area Manager to formulate strategies to address any client or employer issues to maximise outcomes
- Engage in local communities to promote and market the employment services of Afford to achieve direct registration
What you will bring
- Certificate III/IV in Disability Services or higher, or Certificate III/IV in Employment services with extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in case management and experience working in the Disability of Huan Services Sector
- High-level interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a multifunctional team and to interact with a broad cross-section of people, as well as the ability to work independently
- Experience working towards and achieving targets and KPIs
- Excellent conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to operate within a person-centred framework and applying the principles of social justice.
- A passion for safeguarding human rights and a deep personal connection to working in a purpose-driven organisation.
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and a ‘C’ class driver’s license, along with an up-to-date COVID vaccination certificate or a medical exemption.
- A Current First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate (willingness to Obtain if not held or expired) (check)
- Passport, Birth or Citizenship Certificate to validate Australian Work Rights
- Willingness to complete a National & International Police Check (Paid by Afford)
