Network Operations & Maintenance/Electrical
Permanent Full Time
Hervey Bay
Electrical Level C6 - $96,822 per annum (base salary $82,788 plus annualised allowance W415 - $14,034)
- Plus superannuation
- Plus an attraction and retention allowance of 6% of the base salary for the duration of current certified agreement to 15 March 2027
- Plus a company vehicle for commuter use

What we are looking for:
We are looking for a dynamic Senior Electrician to play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and associated infrastructure.
What your day will look like:
In this role you will:
- Provide effective electrical maintenance services, including inspections, repairs, and installations.
- Support the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor in administration and supervision, including acting in the role when required.
- Lead the identification, planning, and delivery of capital works and asset management projects.
- Manage procurement and resourcing for projects, ensuring value for money and best whole-of-life cost.
- Contribute to maintenance planning and ensure asset reliability and safety.
- Participate in the on-call roster to respond to breakdowns.

What you’ll need for success:
- Electrical Trade qualification at Certificate III or above
- Instrumentation trade qualification at certificate III or above
- Construction Induction Training (White Card)
- Confined spaces certification (or ability to readily acquire)
- Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Tetanus immunisations (or ability to readily acquire)
- Current Class C Driver’s licence

- Strong technical expertise in electrical maintenance and project management.
- Ability to oversee and coordinate capital works projects.
- Experience supervising and supporting a team in a positive and productive work environment.
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
