What you will do
- Implement a structured business plan, focusing on the efficient sourcing of new vacancies suitable for DES clients across assigned areas
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the Disability Employment Sector, including employers, government agencies, community groups, and healthcare providers
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and grow portfolio of disability friendly employers
- Provide Post placement support to employers for placed clients to achieve sustainable outcome
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators for business development, including revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market share
- Work in collaboration with Brand & Engagement to elevate Affords Disability Employment Services brand, ensuring that all marketing and communication activities align with Affords values and mission
- Participate in the organisation's internal audit program and proactively ensure corrective actions are completed.
What you will bring
- Demonstrated experience in business development and or relationship management within the Disability or Human Services Sector, with developed industry and employer networks
- Certificate III/IV in Disability Services or higher, or Certificate III/IV in Employment services with extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in case management and experience working in the Disability of Huan Services Sector
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of the team; contribute to the team achieving goals and outcomes
- Experience working towards and achieving targets and KPIs
- A passion for safeguarding human rights and a deep personal connection to working in a purpose-driven organisation.
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and a ‘C’ class driver’s license, along with an up-to-date COVID vaccination certificate or a medical exemption.
- A Current First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate (willingness to Obtain if not held or expired) (check)
- Passport, Birth or Citizenship Certificate to validate Australian Work Rights
- Willingness to complete a National & International Police Check (Paid by Afford)
